This is the first snowflake gift ornament in our annual collection, and still among our favorite designs!  The sentiment, the poetry, the scripture, and of course the design, all work together to help express the wonderful value and intrinsic worth that each of us has to one another.  A blessing of relationship and a blessing of God's plan unfolding day by day as we enjoy community with Christ and with one another in sweet fellowship . . . just as He designed us!

Designed to celebrate our brief moments together with family and loved ones during the holidays, this four inch diameter, intricate and highly filigreed handcrafted porcelain snowflake ornament reminds us that our time with those nearest to our heart passes as quickly as a snowflake melts in our hands.  

After the original art was conceived, sketched, and then drafted, each open heart, and every filigree opening throughout the snowflake ornament design was hand sculpted, one-at-the-time, as was every other detail of this snowflake.  Each piece of porcelain is gently coaxed from one step to another in the hand-crafting process as it gradually takes shape, being refined into its final image over the course of a few days, many loving hands, and a large dose of heat!    

Each ornament comes with a silk ribbon loop which is tied as one of the final steps in our handcrafted process.   Each package box has a scripture hidden under the front flap . . . a surprise gift to the recipient . . . that says "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOd. - Ephesians 2:8".    The package has a background geometric repeating pattern faintly below the typographical information unique to all of our snowflake gift ornament designs.   This Snowflake Gift Ornament is titled “By Design”.  The poetry on back of package box says: "By God's design you were uniquely formed to love and be loved".   The Scripture on side of package box says: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for peace , and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11".    On the reverse side of the ornament, the backstamp says: "By Design Jeremiah 29:11".     This ornament is 4″ in diameter and has item number of SF4D.

The acrylic and porcelain stands are available as optional additional items to enhance your collection and presentation and are not included with this item.
